Your Library is So Cool | Compendium

Is Your Library a Cooling Place?

Libraries across the country have been promoting their facility as a cooling station, offering longer hours for those wishing to take advantage of the library’s air conditioning and water for hydration.  Sometimes it is the municipality that puts out a list of community locations where residents can cool down.  If the library is not on those lists, you may want to reach out to have the library included.

In these hot months, consider reminding people in your community that the library has AC and that the library is a free respite from the heat.  No entry fee!
