2024-25 Statewide Library Service Grant | Compendium

Greetings Library Community,

The Bureau of Library Development (BLD) in the Office of Commonwealth Libraries (OCL) is currently accepting applications for Statewide Library Services and Technology Act (LSTA) grants. There is no dollar threshold; however, awards will be granted to the proposals that are the most competitive and directly align with the goals and outcomes outlined in Pennsylvania’s LSTA Five-Year Plan.

Interested organizations must submit their Statewide Library Service grant application(s) by May 15, 2024, at 12:00pm.  After that time, applications will no longer be accepted, and extensions cannot be granted.

A recorded Statewide Library Service Grant Information Session, including questions and answers, can be viewed on the PA Library Staff Academy.  The recorded information session, along with information on applying for a grant, can also be accessed on Statewide Library Service Grant LibGuide.

Questions about the 2024-25 Statewide Library Service Grant or Pennsylvania’s LSTA program may be sent to ra-edbldadmin@pa.gov.

The Bureau of Library Development (BLD) in the Office of Commonwealth Libraries supports libraries and library services for Pennsylvanians through the administration of state and federally funded programs and grant opportunities including LSTA (Library Services and Technology Act), Library AccessLAMP (Library of Accessible Media for Pennsylvanians), the Public Library Subsidy, and Keystone Grants for Public Library Facilities. BLD also provides advisory services, professional development, and continuing education for library staff and volunteer leadership at public, school, academic, and special libraries.

The Compendium is BLD’s primary communication channel. If you don’t already subscribe, please do so to ensure you receive the most up-to-date information.
