Registration for the live 2019 Fall Training sessions is now open! There are 9 sessions scheduled across the state. Please keep in mind that while the deadline for registering is one week before each scheduled session, space is limited and seats will be filled on a first come basis.
Preliminary Agenda
Registration and a continental breakfast (provided for you!) will begin at 8:15am. The sessions will begin promptly at 9:00 am and end no later than 3:00 pm with a break for lunch on your own. The sessions offered at Fall Training will be Career Readiness and Vocational Resources with POWER Library and Primary Sources for Teaching, Learning, and Family History. These sessions will be repeated in the afternoon so that attendees can switch.
Bring a Laptop, iPad, or other Internet Enabled Device
Please bring your own internet-enabled device to the training in order to fully participate. Wi-Fi will be available at all locations and power outlets for recharging devices will be available during breaks.
Act 48 and Continuing Education Information
Certified school librarians are eligible to receive Act 48 credit hours for attending a session. Act 48 credit forms will be provided at each session. Librarians from public, academic or special collection libraries are eligible for CE credits. Certificates will be handed out to all attendees upon completion of each training session.
Please note that HSLC will not offer training on the use of SHAREit ILL software.
