Lifelong Learning and Turning Outward | Compendium

A recent Pew Research Center report about lifelong learning and technology found that “74% of adults participate in learning activities in which they had done at least one of several activities, such as reading how-to materials or taken courses in pursuit of learning more about personal interests or hobbies in the past 12 months.”  Twenty-three percent of these learners pursued those interests at libraries! Think of ways we can increase that number!  Are we reaching out to the community to see what they want to learn?  Are we getting the message out about what is available?
