FM Global Fire Prevention Grant Program
Grants are offered for Pre-Incident Planning (computer software programs, laptops), Fire Prevention Education/Training (community outreach initiatives, workshops, publications), and Arson Prevention/Fire Investigation (juvenile fire setter programs, continuing education courses, digital and specialized cameras, accelerant detection equipment)
Three deadlines per year: March 31, July 31 and November 30.

American Honda Foundation
Funding priorities are youth education, specifically in the areas of science, technology, engineering, mathematics, the environment, job training and literacy. Grants range $20,000 to $70,000.
Two deadlines a year: August 1 or February 1.  If you are a previous recipient you may apply by May 1.

Mockingbird Foundation Grant offers grants for creative expression in any musical form.  Their programmatic focus is music education for children.  deadline is August 1

Lowes Foundation offers two grants:
Toolbox for Education Grants:  for schools: technology upgrades, tools for STEM programs, facility renovations and safety improvements.  The deadline is August 6th.
Lowe’s Community Partner Grants
for nonprofit organizations and municipalities: building renovations/upgrades, grounds improvements, technology upgrades as well as safety improvements. Deadline is August 24.  The also have a spring deadline.

Foundaton for Rural America offers community development, business and economic development, education, and telecommunications grants.  Deadline is September 15.
