Consider applying for a Professional Development Grant to attend a training session, presentation or online learning session about Libraries Transforming Communities (LTC) and the Turning Outward approach.
Libraries Transforming Communities meets the Community Engagement priority for the scholarships.

Training on Libraries Transforming Communities may be obtained at ALA 2016 Annual Conference, June 23 – 28, Orlando.  Or… you may want to consider the online Harwood Virtual Public Innovator’s Lab ($795).
Librarians and public library trustees are eligible to apply for the scholarships, which reimburses up to $1200 for registration, lodging and travel.   Learn more about the Professional Development scholarships.
