The Office of Commonwealth Libraries needs more individuals to complete teams for ILEAD USA.
These teams need members:
- Community Engagement
- Workforce Development
- Services to Immigrants and Non-English Speakers
To facilitate this, we have shortened the process. You only need you to fill out a personal application, contact information sheet and get a form signed by your supervisor or governing authority. Complete this application package. On the application, select one or more teams you are willing to join. Selection criteria is included in the application. We are looking for up to 15 individuals. When deciding between applications with the same score, the first one received will be selected—so submit your application soon!
The deadline is February 9th at 5:00pm. Can’t make the dates? Tell a co-worker. Anyone who works in any type of PA library can participate—academic, school, public or special!
Please send the application and the governing authority form by February 9 to dmegdad@pa.gov. Please note that this application is different than the individual applications that were to accompany the team applications that were due earlier. Individuals who are already part of a team, which has submitted an application, do not need to re-submit a form.
ILEAD USA is a unique leadership and technology immersion program. Those selected will have all lodging and meals provided and will be reimbursed their travel expenses.
