We Need Diverse Books (WNDB) Grants

We Need Diverse Books (WNDB) has several offering:

  • Educators Making a Difference Grants
    Grants of up to $2000 are available for schools, libraries and educational organizations to provide diverse titles, host diversity-focused student or community events, or any other project that supports diverse literature.
  • Emergency Grants
    These grants provide up to $1,000 for recipients experiencing financial hardship and includes educators and librarians with need due to COVID or loss of work.
  •  1000 copies of Fresh Ink  to be donated to schools and libraries. Giveaway ends February 14, 2022
  • WNDB has also joined Writing Change. This literacy initiative, led by Estée Lauder Companies, supports organizations that provide equitable access to literacy education.
