Message from the PA Department of Health

The Pennsylvania Department of Health has developed several opportunities for Pennsylvanians to share their experience with viral hepatitis. Viral hepatitis is a devastating consequence of substance use disorders but is preventable and treatable. Stories will be collected via virtual group listening session, one-on-one interview, completing an online form, or leaving a voicemail at 412-258-3398 and answering four core questions. Attached, you’ll find a flyer for listening sessions, social media posts, and a brochure describing these opportunities. The stories collected will be compiled and used to illustrate how viral hepatitis affects Pennsylvanians and will be included in Pennsylvania’s Viral Hepatitis Elimination Plan.
