Pennhurst Exhibit

The Muhlenberg Community Library is currently hosting the panel exhibit, Images of The Pennhurst Story – Tragedy to Disability Rights.  The exhibit tells the “real” story and controversy of The Pennhurst State School and Hospital leading to its closure and its part in the disabilities civil rights movement.

The FREE exhibit will be on display during the library’s regular operating hours from January 13 to January 31, 2020. The exhibit is on loan from The Pennhurst Memorial and Preservation Alliance.  No registration is necessary to visit the library and see the exhibit.
