New E-Resources Have Arrived in POWER Library!

“List all”, “Help me choose”, and POWER Kids links
If you link to the alphabetical (“List all”) or subject (“Help me choose”) listing or to POWER Kids, you do not need to make any changes to your library website links.  These listings have been updated to include the new Gale e-resources as well as the continuing e-resources.

Linking directly to a specific e-resource
If your institution provides links directly to a specific e-resource (e.g., in an A to Z E-Resource Listing, in a LibGuide, etc.), you need to update those links.  The expiring EBSCO e-resources and SIRS Discoverer from ProQuest must be removed and the new Gale e-resources must be added.  There are no changes to the direct links for continuing e-resources so no changes are needed for those links. You can obtain links for your library in the Links Generator available in the POWER Library – For Librarians at:

(Note that you can test your links by selecting them right there in the Links Generator and you should not be prompted for a barcode number as long as you are within your building.)

Does your library subscribe to other Gale products?
Please note: If your library currently subscribes to any of the Gale products that will be added to POWER Library, Gale will be in contact with you regarding pro-rated credits to your account. You should continue to purchase any Gale products that you subscribe to that are not part of POWER Library.
