The “Priorities and Recommendations” document describes the vital importance of Pennsylvania’s libraries and highlights five areas that the GAC believes must be addressed by the new administration and the legislature to ensure that all Pennsylvanians have access–through libraries–to the resources they need to be successful. Our libraries serve Pennsylvania residents in many crucial ways and further the educational goals of our Commonwealth. the Governor’s Advisory Council has sent their recommendations to Governor Tom Wolf, Acting Secretary of Education Pedro Rivera, legislators, partner organizations (PaLA, PSLA, PCBL), and interested others.
