Trustee Workshop: Sustainability Best Practices and Planning

Date:  Tuesday, July 17, 2018  9:00am to 2:00pm.
Location:  James V Brown Library, Lowry Room, Williamsport

What is organizational sustainability? What are the 13 key areas that drive sustainability? What are the challenges and how can library boards address them?

Join the coLab team for a workshop focused on acquiring the tools and knowledge to sustain library services and programs for future generations. Leave the workshop with the skills to develop your own sustainability plan.

As a community benefit corporation, coLab offers consulting, facilitation, and convening services to increase the sustainability of nonprofits and social enterprises while promoting collaborative partnerships for a vibrant community. We focus on impact by empowering leaders in the nonprofit world to fulfill their mission from a thoughtfully developed and strategic approach.

Registration begins at 8:45AM with a working lunch at noon.

This event is free to library board members and directors and is made possible by a grant from the Institute of Museum and Library Services as administered by the Pennsylvania Department of Education through the Office of Commonwealth Libraries, and the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, Tom Wolf, Governor
