Pa Public Library Application for Books to Support CDC Grant work: Deadline April 1 | Compendium

The Office of Commonwealth Libraries is working with the Department of Health on a grant from the Center for Disease Control that includes a section on growing healthy kids.  More than 300 childcare providers are part of the initiative and more are added each year.  We would like to ensure that providers and parents have access to a core group of books to share with children.

Please look at the titles below, check them against your catalog and mark those you do NOT own. Go to https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/Nutritionbooks and enter the information about your library and check off the titles you need.  The deadline is April 1, 2019 and is only open to Pennsylvania public libraries.

In return, we ask that you let providers in your area know you have them.   You may also want to check out the list of books recommended by another partner in the grant, the Food Trust: http://www.pareadysetgrow.org/book-list/
