The Capital Area District, Chambersburg District and York Adams District invites all library staff to a Multi-District Workshop.
Community Impact: High Need Populations
Libraries are changing! To make an impact on our community, libraries must acknowledge the diversity in our communities, especially those populations with the greatest need. This workshop will explore the needs of families living in poverty, parents and children who are separated because of incarceration and teens who act out because of stress in their home. Recognizing that library staff themselves often experience Compassion Fatigue, which impacts their professional and personal lives, the workshop will address staff needs as well.
