Guiding Principles for Use of Technology with Early Learners | Compendium

The US Department of Education’s Office of Educational Technology released Guiding Principles for Use of Technology with Early Learner.  Four guiding principles are presented along with references to various educational guides and resources.

Highlighted are:  how to determine what is developmentally appropriate,  the difference between a physical and an e-book,  digital citizenship, research on television use, what it means to be culturally responsive, how technology supports STEM and early learning, security and protecting privacy, Universal Design for Learning, dual languages and children with disabilities.
