The Teaching, Learning & Technology Round Table of the Pennsylvania Library Association is excited to close out 2018 by offering you a free professional development webinar! Please join to learn how you can make database instruction fun through gamification.
Session:
Search App Smackdown! Gamifying Database Instruction
Description: Teaching databases… Not fun for you, and not fun for students! We all recognize the need to teach learners how to use these important resources, but so often this instruction is boring and ill-received. So, stop doing it! Try a Smackdown instead! Learn how to use videos, badges and digital breakout boxes to gamify your instruction. Your students will love it… and you might have some fun, too!
