Is your library looking to expand your resources to better serve adult learners? Consider adding this information as a resource to refer and assist  adult learners.

PA Adult Education Resources (PAAER) equips adult education practitioners in Pennsylvania with professional development and resources to empower all adult learners. They also provide services and resources directly to adult learners of all skill levels. Here is a selection of PAAER’s work that may be of interest to libraries:

  • Digital Literacy Specialist Webinar Series: provides opportunity to gather resources for supporting staff and students to build digital literacy skills.
  • Workforce Development: provides adult learners opportunities to examine career pathways and explore a variety of options to make informed decisions about their careers.
  • Enhancing Access for Refugees and New Americans (EARN): this project aims to establish and maintain effective partnerships for the integration and inclusion of immigrants.
  • Equity, inclusion, and belonging tools and resources to support educational entities in providing an equitable and inclusive educational environment.

Additional information about learning resources and tools can be found at PA Adult Education Resources.

Sign up for the PAAER monthly newsletter to receive communication about adult education resources and learning opportunities.
