PA Photos and Documents Islandora Update Webinar

Earlier this year, Hosting Solutions and Library Consulting (HSLC) conducted an RFP for a new digital repository software platform for PA Photos and Documents. The open-source platform Islandora was chosen, and HSLC has hired discoverygarden to implement the new system.
On Monday, December 3 at 2:00 p.m., HSLC will host a webinar to update PA Photos and Documents collection managers and others interested about the migration and implementation process.
The webinar will provide the following information:
- Overview of Islandora as a system
- Overview of key differences between CONTENTdm and Islandora
- Timeline and process for data conversion and go-live in Islandora
- Moratorium on current work in CONTENTdm
- Planning for training on Islandora in 2019
- Acceptance of new digital collections in Islandora in 2019
- Attendee Q&A
