Have you ever considered crowdfunding for a library need?

The Children’s Museum of Pittsburgh created a Kickstarter which will help ten schools that are seeking to fund their makerspaces.

Crowdfunding sites offer an opportunity to raise money online.  Some crowdfunding platforms allow the organizer to keep all the funds raised even though the goal has not been reached; others don’t. Make sure to read all the rules about the site you are considering.  Some popular sites include Indiegogo, Kickstarter and GoFundMe.
