Join Claudia Haines, co-author of Becoming a Media Mentor: A Guide for Working with Children and Families (ALA Editions) for an interactive workshop on media mentorship in the library. The training will include an overview of the following topics:
- Defining Media Mentorship
- Making the Case for Media Mentorship
- Three Types of Media Mentorship
- Finding New Media
Special attention will be paid to family engagement and diversity.
