Many libraries have leaders who are retiring or leaving the organization for a variety of reasons, resulting in a potential loss of institutional knowledge happening at the same time. For some organizations the breadth of change required to adapt to the evolving environment will require a thoughtful and purposeful transition. This workshop will provide concrete examples of how to develop a leadership transition plan, assess the organization’s readiness for developing a plan, and will include specific planning tools to prepare your library for leadership transition.   Access the flier.
