As a librarian or trustee, you have a powerful story to tell about your library. Whether you’re offering new programs and services, reimagining your library’s physical space or shifting the way you reach patrons, you need to frame your library story in a way that brings it to life.
The Pennsylvania State Library welcomes Michael Margolis, CEO of GetStoried.com and founder of Story University, for a series of strategic storytelling workshops this September 2015. Michael will train you, your trustees and your staff how to use The Library Story: Strategic Storytelling Toolkit for Public Libraries, which is based on months of research, surveys and interviews with 200 Pennsylvania librarians and directors. Everyone who attends will receive a copy of this toolkit.
Please encourage your staff and trustees to register for one of these trainings. It will be a great day of networking with others, opportunities to tell the library’s story and to hear what is happening in other libraries in your region of the state.
