The Pennsylvania Citizens for Better Libraries (PCBL) and the Pennsylvania Library Association are co-sponsoring the 2024 Friends and Trustees Institute.

This new, virtual event will be held on Saturday, March 23, 2024.  On that day, there will be concurrent sessions offered live between 9am – 2:15pm including an unconference session for Q&A with attendees and networking.  Attendees will have the opportunity to register as an individual or a group viewing setting, and membership discounts are offered for PCBL and PA Library Association members.  The live sessions will be recorded and available for viewing after the event for even further education and value!

More details will be coming soon about this exciting new opportunity where BOTH Friends of the Library groups who are essential fundraisers and advocates for PA public libraries; and volunteer Boards of Trustees of public libraries who provide governance, advocacy, and fundraising, can engage together.  Keep an eye on this page for details, and registration will open in January.  https://www.palibraries.org/page/2024FriendsTrusteesInst
