Schlow Centre Region Library celebrated National Pig Day on March 1, making use of the many books with pig characters.  (Yellow Pig Day is July 17).

Create your own animal day–goat day, cow day or duck–as a programming resource!  They may already have a day–check the Holidays and Observances site,  For Pet’s Sake site or the  Dog Tipper site.
