ALA has created a plethora of useful Census-related resources. If you missed ALA’s sold-out webinar “Responding Online to the 2020 Census: What Libraries Need to Know” the recording is now available.
I was impressed by the clear way that ALA outlined information most important to libraries such as: the timeline for the Census and how it may impact the types of questions library users ask; tips for helping patrons experiencing homelessness; language-assistance resources, basic Census do’s and don’t and Best Practice tips from two public libraries. The question and answer session at the end of the webinar also produced helpful information.
