Trustee Training @ The Sands | Compendium

Trustee Training @ The Sands
Date:  September 10

Please join popular Board consultant and speaker Michael Kumer and your fellow Trustees as we explore the question: What Do Great Boards (and Board Members) Do?  This is a great opportunity for all Trustees, old and new, to be reminded of the essential roles and proper responsibilities of library Board members, and to interact with other Trustees from across the Lehigh Valley.

The event will be held at the Sands Casino Event Center in Bethlehem on Saturday, September 10, 2016 from 10 AM to 3 PM, with lunch included.

To register, please contact your director if you are from the Lehigh Valley region, including Berks, Carbon, Lehigh, Monroe, and Northampton counties.  If you are from outside the area and wish to register, please contact Mark Sullivan at the Allentown Public Library.

Please register  as soon as possible to ensure your place at this informative session that will help all of us guide our libraries to even greater heights!

This opportunity is FREE to Trustees, provided by a grant from the Institute of Museum and Library Services, administered by the Office of Commonwealth Libraries, and presented by the Reading, Allentown, Bethlehem and Easton Library Districts.
