Announcing the Pennsylvania eBook Consortium; Webinar on May 17 | Compendium

PA eBook Consortium

Attention Pennsylvania School Librarians!

We are excited to announce that after months of planning, we can officially announce the formation of the Pennsylvania eBook Consortium! We are very fortunate that HSLC, the same organization that hosts POWER Library and Ask Here PA, will host the consortium.

Want to learn more?  Join the webinar! Participate in this webinar on May 17 to learn about the newly formed Pennsylvania eBook Consortium and how it offers a cost-effective way for your school to provide eBooks to the communities you serve.

The Consortium will be hosted by MackinVIA on a truly open platform, enabling your school to integrate current eBooks with the MackinVIA system, regardless of where or when you purchased them.  This means you are not giving up any titles you currently own.

Additionally, MackinVIA is a content aggregator, serves as a single sign-on for all databases, and has zero hosting fees and no yearly subscription fees.  HSLC will serve as the fiscal agent and will charge no administrative fees to current POWER Library/Access PA participants.
